Is there a way to disable this warning for specific method?
For example, I cannot further simplify the following method, but inspection still says it's overly complex:
private Class getColumnClass(int column) throws SQLException
Class detectedClass = null;
for (List<Excel97Cell> row : getDataCells())
detectedClass = redetectClass(row.get(column - 1), detectedClass);
catch (Exception e)
if (detectedClass == String.class) return detectedClass;
return defaultIfNull(detectedClass, String.class);
Alas, there's no information about specific @SuppressWarnings annotation value for inspections in either inspection description (in Inspections dialog) or in inspection details (shown by pressing "More" or Ctrl+F1).
By the way, text with inspection details is not adapted to Windows desktop scaling (too small in case of 200% scaling).
